Built from a daily frustration
Floov started on our daily walks with Snoop. We were tired of juggling treats, keys, hand sanitiser, poop bags — and worst of all, carrying a used poop bag with no bin nearby. So we DIYed a small storage bag onto his harness, and it changed everything. Walks felt cleaner, easier and less awkward. We kept thinking, why doesn’t this already exist? So we built Floov.

What is Floov?
Floov is an everyday dog-walking harness/backpack for essentials, with a removable waste pod for securely carrying tied used poop bags until there’s a bin.
Will the waste pod smell?
The waste pod is designed with a secure closure and wipe-clean interior to help minimise odour. In real-walk prototype testing, it has stayed clean and odour-free when used with securely tied bags.
Does the poop touch the pod?
No. The pod is designed to carry a securely tied used poop bag, not loose waste.
What happens if the bag leaks?
Floov is designed to be mess-resistant and easy to clean. Used bags should always be tied securely before being placed inside the pod. If a leak happens, the pod can be removed and wiped or rinsed clean.
Is Floov safe and comfortable for my dog?
Yes. Floov is designed to sit securely on your dog’s body without restricting natural movement. The storage sits on top, away from sensitive areas, with a contoured fit and soft, breathable materials that are gentle on fur. Like any harness, the right size and fit are important.
Can I remove the pod when I don’t need it?
Yes. Floov is designed as a modular system, so the waste pod can be removed when you do not need to carry used bags or extra storage.
What sizes will be available?
We expect to offer S, M, L, and XL sizes. Final sizing will be confirmed after prototype testing, and a size guide will be released before launch.
Can I use the waste pod with my normal harness?
No. Floov is a complete harness system. This helps the pod sit securely, stay balanced, and avoid swinging or dangling during walks.
