What is Floov?

Floov is an everyday dog walking harness with a built-in clean bag dispenser and a removable waste pod for carrying securely tied used poop bags until you find a bin.

Who is Floov made for?

Floov is made for dog owners who hate carrying used poop bags, especially on long walks, beach walks, park loops, café walks, apartment walks, or anywhere bins are not always nearby.

Is Floov a harness or an attachment?

Floov is a complete dog walking harness system. It is designed to replace your current harness, not clip onto a standard harness.

How does Floov work?

Pull a clean bag from the built-in dispenser, pick up after your dog, tie the used bag securely, place it inside the waste pod, and keep walking until you reach the next bin.

Can Floov carry things other than used poop bags?

Yes. Floov is designed to help carry small walk essentials such as clean poop bags, keys, an AirTag or tracker, small treats, and hand sanitiser. The waste pod should only be used for securely tied used poop bags.

Does Floov replace carrying clean poop bags?

Yes. Floov includes a built-in clean bag dispenser so you can keep bags on your dog’s harness and have them ready when needed.

Is Floov only for long walks?

No. Floov is useful for everyday walks too, especially if you live in an apartment, walk without pockets, stop for coffee, or regularly deal with bins that are too far away.

Can I use the waste pod with my current harness?

No. The waste pod is designed to work with the Floov harness so it sits securely, stays balanced, and does not swing or dangle during walks.

Does the poop touch the pod?

No. The pod is designed to carry a securely tied used poop bag, not loose waste.

Will the waste pod smell?

The waste pod is designed with a secure closure and wipe-clean interior to help minimise odour. In real-walk prototype testing, it has stayed clean and odour-free when used with securely tied bags.

What happens if the bag leaks?

Floov is designed to be mess-resistant and easy to clean. Used bags should always be tied securely before being placed inside the pod. If a leak happens, the pod can be removed and wiped or rinsed clean.

Is the pod washable?

Yes. The waste pod is designed to be removable and easy to wipe or rinse clean when needed.

How many used bags can the pod hold?

The pod is designed for short-term carrying during walks. It should comfortably hold at least one tied used poop bag. Final capacity may vary by dog size, pod size, and prototype testing results.

My dog rolls around. What happens to the bag inside the pod?

Floov is made for normal walking, sniffing, café stops, park loops, and everyday adventures. If your dog loves rolling, rough play, or swimming, we recommend emptying the pod first where possible and always using strong bags tied securely.

Can I remove the pod when I don’t need it?

Yes. Floov is designed as a modular system, so the waste pod can be removed when you do not need to carry used bags or extra storage.

Can I use any poop bag with Floov?

Floov is designed to carry securely tied standard poop bags. We recommend using strong, good-quality bags and tying them properly before placing them inside the pod.

Is it safe and comfortable for my dog?

Yes. Floov is designed to sit securely on your dog’s body without restricting natural movement. The storage sits on top, away from sensitive areas, and the right size and fit are important for comfort and safety.

Will the pod swing or dangle while my dog walks?

No. Floov is being designed so the pod sits securely against the harness rather than swinging from the lead or dangling loosely.

What sizes will be available?

We expect to offer S, M, L, and XL sizes. Final sizing will be confirmed after prototype testing, and a size guide will be released before launch.

What happens if Floov does not fit?

Before ordering or testing, we’ll ask you to measure your dog’s chest or girth and check our size guide rather than choosing by breed or weight alone. If Floov does not fit properly, we’ll help you find the right size or arrange an exchange or return according to our policy.

Is Floov suitable for small dogs?

Floov is being designed across multiple sizes, including smaller sizes. Final sizing will be confirmed after prototype testing so we can make sure the harness is comfortable, balanced, and practical for different dog body types.

Is Floov suitable for bigger dogs?

Yes. Bigger dogs are one of the reasons Floov exists, because bigger dogs often mean bigger bags and longer walks before finding a bin. Final sizing and pod capacity will be confirmed after testing.

Is Floov waterproof?

Floov is being designed to be water-resistant and wipe-clean for everyday walks. It is not designed to be used as a swimming harness.

Can my dog wear Floov every day?

Yes. Floov is being designed as an everyday walking harness. Like any harness, it should fit correctly, be adjusted properly, and be removed when your dog is resting unsupervised.

Can I still use my normal lead with Floov?

Yes. Floov is designed as a walking harness, so it is intended to be used with a standard lead attached to the harness.

Is Floov available to buy now?

Will testers need to pay?

Selected prototype testers will not need to pay for the product itself. Because early units are for real-world testing, we may ask for a small refundable deposit to confirm commitment and help make sure feedback is completed.

What will testers need to do?

Prototype testers will be asked to use Floov on normal walks and share honest feedback on fit, comfort, pod size, cleaning, usability, and the overall walking experience.

Is Floov final yet?

No. Floov is currently in prototype testing. The final product may change as we improve fit, comfort, pod size, materials, and real-walk usability.
